On Friday, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a message from Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). In his message, Abbas extended heartfelt congratulations on the anniversary of the Glorious Algerian Revolution, which led to Algeria’s independence.
On this significant occasion, the Palestinian president lauded Algeria’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, as well as its ongoing humanitarian and economic assistance aimed at strengthening the resilience of the Palestinian population.
Furthermore, the Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee commended Algeria’s “active and effective” role in various international forums, particularly during its tenure on the Security Council. He also recognized Algeria’s continuous efforts to promote Palestinian unity and facilitate reconciliation among Palestinian factions.
Mahmoud Abbas expressed his sincere wishes for prosperity and progress to President Tebboune and the Algerian people.
