Update: The Zionist aggression results in 558 martyrs in Lebanon

The toll of martyrs from the Zionist strikes on Lebanon since Monday reached 558, including 50 children and 94 women, with 1,835 wounded, Health Minister Firass Abiad said on Tuesday.
The Lebanese news agency ANI reported that fighter jets from the Zionist forces launched raids on the city of Baalbek and the localities of Douress, Bazzalia, and Chaat.
According to the same source, the occupation’s raids triggered a wave of displacement within the Baalbek-Hermel governorate towards nearby areas away from the targeted zone. Event halls affiliated with mosques in Baalbek-Hermel have been opened to accommodate the displaced.
In parallel, the Zionist forces targeted southern Lebanon, including the villages of Kfardounine and as-Sultaniyah, as well as the area between Haumeiri and Tayr Falsay, according to Lebanese media.
Since Monday morning, the Zionist occupation has launched what is described as the “most violent, extensive, and intensive” attack on Lebanon in about a year.
