Gaza: 1.7 Million Palestinians Confined in 10% of the Strip

According to the media office of the Palestinian enclave, the Zionist entity is confining 1.7 million Palestinians to a limited area that constitutes no more than one-tenth of the total land area of the Gaza Strip.

“The occupying forces are intentionally suffocating 1.7 million Palestinian civilians by forcing them into an extremely confined space that does not exceed ten percent of the total area of the Gaza Strip,” the group stated, adding that “this is part of the occupation’s crime of forcibly displacing Palestinian civilians.”

The report continued, “The occupying (Zionist) forces have compelled the Palestinians of Gaza to flee against their will and abandon their homes and neighborhoods under the threat of gunfire, bombardments, and the use of internationally banned weapons, which amounts to a crime against humanity.”

“This unequivocally confirms that the occupying army is deliberately stifling Palestinian civilians within an exceedingly restricted area that represents no more than one-tenth of the size of the Gaza Strip,” it further stated.

The office also highlighted that the Zionist entity has significantly reduced the “security zone” in Gaza since October.
