Algeria : International seminar on the African dimension of the Algerian Revolution

During an international forum in Algiers, The Algerian Foreign Minister, Ahmed Attaf, affirmed that Algeria, under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is committed to African collective action to prevent and settle conflicts in the continent, under the principle of African solutions to African problems.
Attaf reiterated his country’s longstanding commitment towards the unitary continental approach to confront the multidimensional and multifaceted challenges that thwart peace efforts and undermine development in the region.
“We are obliged to stand by the struggle of brotherly Sahrawi people in the last African colony, which expects support and assistance from all the free people of the world, to exercise its right of self-determination,” Attaf added in a statement.
In memory of Algeria’s war of independence, the Algerian Minister addressed the Palestinian struggle for freedom. He said “the Palestinian people are more than ever in need of the support of our African continent and all Peoples who believe in the values of freedom, dignity and justice in order to attain their legitimate rights, and establish their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.”
