أعلنت اليابان عن عقدها مؤتمر طوكيو الدولي التاسع للتنمية الإفريقية (تيكاد 9) في مدينة يوكوهاما السنة المقبلة (2025).
وقررت الحكومة اليابانية، خلال اجتماع مجلس الوزراء، عقد المؤتمر في يوكوهاما لمدة ثلاثة أيام، اعتبارا من 20 أوت 2025.
وأفاد وزير شؤون مجلس الوزراء، يوشيماسا هاياشي في تصريحات عقب الاجتماع، بأن بلاده تتوقع نموا ديناميكيا في إفريقيا، مشيرا إلى أن اليابان سوف تستغل مؤتمر “تيكاد 9” كفرصة لزيادة تعزيز علاقاتها مع الدول الإفريقية.
من جهتها، نوهت يوكو كاميكاوا وزيرة الخارجية، في تصريحات منفصلة، إلى أنها ستعقد اجتماعا وزاريا لإطار “تيكاد” في العاصمة طوكيو لمدة يومين اعتبارا من 24 أغسطس من هذا العام، لبحث الترتيبات الخاصة بـ “تيكاد 9”.
يذكر أن “تيكاد” هو مؤتمر دولي تقوده اليابان، ويشارك فيه قادة دول لمناقشة تعزيز المساعدات والاستثمار في البلدان الإفريقية.
