Zionist Forces Launches “Special Operations” in Southern Lebanon Despite Ceasefire Deal

The Zionist military announced on Wednesday that its forces had initiated “special, targeted operations” in southern Lebanon, a move that violates the existing ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah.
According to a military statement, Zionist forces identified and targeted alleged weapons caches and underground storage sites used by Hezbollah. The operations reportedly included the dismantling of a compound with weapons depots and firing positions in the Jabal Blat area and the confiscation of additional arms in Labbouneh, along with the destruction of another underground facility.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s official National News Agency (NNA) reported that Zionist drones were seen flying over Beirut and its southern suburbs. Neither Hezbollah nor Lebanese authorities immediately responded to the Zionist claims.
Although a ceasefire was reached in November, Zionist strikes in southern Lebanon have continued almost daily. Lebanese officials say the Zionist entity has committed nearly 3,000 violations since the truce, resulting in the deaths of at least 236 people and over 540 injuries.
Despite the ceasefire terms, which required a full Zionist withdrawal from southern Lebanon by January 26, the Zionist entity secured an extension to February 18 but has yet to vacate five border outposts.
