Zionist Entity Expands Destruction in Gaza, Targeting UNRWA Facilities

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, revealed that the Zionist entity has bombed ten UNRWA buildings in Gaza City over the past four days, including seven schools and two clinics sheltering thousands of displaced Palestinians.

Human rights organizations have warned that these systematic attacks form part of a wider Zionist-American plan to forcibly displace the population southward and eventually outside the Gaza Strip. The Zionist entity has also begun demolishing high-rise residential buildings, pushing more families into unbearable conditions of displacement.

Lazzarini, writing on the organization’s X account, stressed that “no place and no one is safe in Gaza City and its north,” as Zionist airstrikes intensify. He confirmed that healthcare services at Al-Shati refugee camp—the only facility north of Wadi Gaza—have been suspended, while water and sanitation systems are operating at half capacity. The UN official called for an immediate ceasefire, emphasizing that the attacks on UNRWA facilities highlight the urgent need for international intervention to protect the Palestinian people.
