Zionist colonists stormed the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied al-Quds on Monday afternoon, chanting slogans calling for its “control and occupation.”
In response, al-Quds Governorate issued a statement condemning the act as a dangerous and provocative violation of international law and United Nations resolutions. The statement warned that this attack reflects the ongoing colonial aggression supported by the Zionist government, which continues to target Palestinian presence and UN institutions offering humanitarian aid.
The Governorate described the incursion as part of a systematic campaign to eliminate UNRWA and erase the refugee issue—an essential component of Palestinian national rights, especially the right of return enshrined in UN Resolution 194.
