ALGIERS – The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, visited on Sunday, the headquarters of the pharmaceutical group Saidal in El Harrach (Algiers), on the second day of his official visit to Algeria.
The Zimbabwean president was accompanied by the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Ouacim Kouidri, and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari.
In this respect, the Zimbabwean president toured Saidal’s generic drug manufacturing facilities, which produces 30 products and anticancer medications.
Algeria’s guest also received briefings on capsules intended for diabetics, kidney patients and people suffering from allergies, as well as medications that cover the needs of the national market.
During his visit, the Zimbabwean president said he was impressed by the pharmaceutical industry in Algeria.
