President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, has received an official reply letter from Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa, reaffirming Zimbabwe’s steadfast support for the Sahrawi cause.
In his message, President Mnangagwa expressed appreciation for Ghali’s congratulatory letter on Zimbabwe’s 45th Independence Anniversary. “I acknowledge, with gratitude, your warm and timely letter congratulating me and my fellow citizens on the auspicious occasion,” he wrote.
President Mnangagwa reaffirmed Zimbabwe’s “unconditional support for the right to self-determination of the Saharawi people,” and expressed his desire to continue working closely with President Ghali to deepen the historic ties between the two nations. He concluded the letter by extending his best wishes for peace, prosperity, and personal good health to President Ghali and the Sahrawi people.
