Zelensky: Full Ceasefire in Ukraine Possible in Coming Weeks or Months

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky suggested that a full ceasefire in Ukraine could be reached in the coming weeks or months, emphasizing that various options are on the table for ending the conflict’s active phase.

During a live broadcast from a meeting with Chernigov Region residents, Zelensky noted that peace could be achieved quickly when the right circumstances align, particularly in relation to halting the fighting.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump discussed the situation in Ukraine in a phone call on March 18, agreeing on a 30-day ceasefire for energy infrastructure and launching technical negotiations for a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea. However, the Kremlin stressed that ending foreign military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine are key conditions for a comprehensive resolution.
