West Bank: Zionist occupation arrests over 18 Palestinians in 24 hours

RAMALLAH – The Zionist occupation forces arrested at least 18 Palestinians, including a woman and former prisoners, on Friday and Saturday in various governorates of the occupied West Bank, according to a joint statement by the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society.

The arrests took place in the governorates of AlKhalil (Hebron) and Ramallah, and were accompanied by assaults and threats against the detainees and their families, as well as acts of sabotage and destruction of Palestinian homes, along with on-the-ground investigations, the statement added.

Since October 7, 2023, the total number of arrests in the West Bank, including Al-Quds, has surpassed 11,600, not including the thousands of people arrested in Gaza, the statement further noted.
