Washington: Activists Petition Congress to Halt Arms Shipments to Zionist Entity

Tens of thousands of activists in the United States have signed a petition urging Congress to implement an “immediate halt” to all arms shipments to the Zionist entity. This petition aims to protect the Palestinian people from what is described as ongoing brutal massacres perpetrated by Zionist occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), 134,000 signatures have already been collected, with a target of 204,000 signatures that activists hope to achieve. The goal is to present the petition to members of Congress and press them to “impose an immediate ban” on sending weapons to the Zionist entity to put an end to the campaign of genocide.
Since October 7, the continuous and bloody offensive by Zionist occupation forces in the Gaza Strip has resulted in 39,480 deaths and 91,128 injuries. This ongoing aggression has caused an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, displacing more than 85 percent of the sector’s population, which amounts to approximately 1.9 million people.
