Vovinam Viet Vo Dao : Algerian Mohamed Djouadj Re-Elected as African Federation President

ABIDJAN – The President of the Algerian Vovinam Viet Vo Dao Federation, Mohamed Djouadj, was re-elected to a new Olympic term at the head of the African Federation of the discipline, during the elective assembly held on Monday in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on the sidelines of the organization of the African championship of the discipline, the African body announced on its social networks on Tuesday.

Mohamed Djouadj secured the unanimous backing of the representatives of the member countries of the continental body, “which mirrors and confirms the immense trust the Algerian enjoys within African sports field, having achieved notable accomplishments during his previous term, particularly by bolstering cooperation between member countries and developing continental-scale sports programs,” as stated by the African body in a release posted on its official Facebook page.

The GA members acknowledged the Algerian’s outstanding achievement in establishing the African Federation of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao in 2012, which he founded, and his remarkable efforts in advancing this martial art throughout Africa over the past three terms.

Upon being elected, Mohamed Djouadj expressed his gratitude to those present for their continued trust, pledging to maintain his ongoing work alongside the entire Vovinam Viet Vo Dao community to advance this martial art.
