USA : Kamala Harris picks Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as running mate for the presidential race

WASHINGTON – VP Kamala Harris selects Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as running mate on Tuesday, aiming to increase her chances in Midwest.
Harris said in a post on social media that Walz has “delivered for working families” as a governor, coach, teacher and veteran.
“It’s great to have him on the team,” Harris wrote on X. “Now let’s get to work.”
Walz, on the other hand, called it “the honor of a lifetime” to be Harris’ vice presidential pick.” The two will appear together in Philadelphia at an evening rally, where he will introduce himself to the public.
Tim Walz, 60-year-old, a Midwestern governor, a military veteran and union supporter who enacted the Democratic agenda in his state. Henceforward, he will join VP Kamala Harris in her campaign against Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance.
