UNRWA Warns U.S.-Backed Gaza Aid System Failing to Meet Humanitarian Needs

GAZA — The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned on Monday that the U.S.-supported aid distribution system, coordinated with the zionist entity, is falling drastically short of addressing the deepening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. The agency emphasized the urgent need for safe and direct access to Palestinian civilians suffering from famine and deteriorating living conditions.

Sam Rose, UNRWA’s Director of Affairs in Gaza, underscored that while the United Nations proved during the ceasefire its ability to deliver large-scale assistance across Gaza, the current model fails to reach the most vulnerable populations, including the sick, injured, and elderly. “The current distribution methods do not meet the urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza,” Rose said in a statement.

Despite having supplies available, UNRWA cited restricted access as the key obstacle to effective aid. “We have no time to waste,” Rose stressed. The warning comes amid worsening reports from aid organizations detailing extreme hunger, collapsing healthcare systems, and the continued devastation of civilian infrastructure caused by ongoing Zionist aggression.
