UNRWA Confirms Ongoing Operations in Gaza Despite Zionist Occupation Restrictions

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) confirmed Sunday that it is maintaining operations in Gaza despite severe challenges posed by Zionist occupation restrictions, reaffirming its commitment to delivering humanitarian and medical aid to affected populations, particularly children.

In a statement released on its official social media channels, the agency said it maintains an extensive logistics network across the Gaza Strip, comprising more than 11,000 qualified personnel with the expertise, local trust and capacity to reach those in need under the most difficult conditions.

UNRWA said it is working in close coordination with the World Health Organization and other UN agencies to provide emergency medical care and humanitarian relief to children and families in Gaza, stressing that its operations have not ceased despite repeated restrictions and attacks by the Zionist occupation forces.

The agency said that its logistics network has enabled teams to respond rapidly to urgent humanitarian and medical cases, ensuring support reaches vulnerable groups across the Strip, adding that children, women and the elderly remain its top priorities.

UNRWA vowed to continue its mission despite ongoing obstacles, asserting that its commitment to the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian refugees remains unwavering.

The agency pledged to sustain essential services in parallel with international efforts to address the impact of the blockade and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza.
