UNRWA : Bad Weather Worsens Already Dire Humanitarian Situation in Gaza

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that the severe weather is worsening the already dire conditions in the Gaza Strip, which has endured the devastation of Zionist aggression for over two years, with bombardment continuing despite a ceasefire agreement.

UNRWA wrote in a statement posted on Thursday, on its social media platforms, that the already deteriorating situation in Gaza is worsening due to severe weather conditions. Floods and the collapse of shelters are threatening the life of displaced families, many residing in tents or precarious structures, added the agency.

“What should be a seasonal storm is becoming a life-threatening crisis,” UNRWA said.
