UNICEF : Over 5,800 Children Suffer from Malnutrition in Gaza

GAZA – The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced Sunday that more than 5,800 children in the Gaza Strip were diagnosed with malnutrition in June, as the Zionist entity’s ongoing war and the 18-year-long blockade continue to cripple access to food and vital services.
In a statement posted on X, UNICEF revealed that the June figure includes over 1,000 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition, marking the fourth consecutive month of rising cases.
Describing the crisis as “a child survival emergency,” the agency stressed that “aid must be delivered at speed and scale” to prevent further deterioration of the humanitarian situation.
