UN Special Rapporteur: ” Israeli Attacks on civilians in Gaza Extremely Devastating”
GENEVA – The United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture, Alice Jill Edwards, has condemned Zionist attacks on Palestinian civilians in Gaza, describing them as “extremely devastating.”
In a report presented late Tuesday during the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Edwards highlighted the severe impact of Zionist aggression and the suffering endured by Palestinian detainees. The report, focused on torture during captivity, detailed numerous accounts of torture and other forms of ill-treatment faced by Palestinians detained by Zionist forces.
Edwards stated that she is closely monitoring these violations and underscored the urgent need for accountability. Her findings add to growing international concerns over the humanitarian situation in Gaza and Zionist treatment of Palestinian detainees.
