UN Calls on World Leaders to Deliver Food to Gaza Strip, End Zionist Blockade

The United Nations has called on world leaders to take urgent action to ensure the delivery of food to civilians in the Gaza Strip, as the Zionist entity’s full blockade enters its ninth consecutive week.
In a statement released Monday by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the organization warned that the Zionist entity’s announced plan for delivering humanitarian aid contradicts fundamental humanitarian principles. The plan, it said, poses risks to civilian lives and undermines aid operations while promoting forced displacement.
UN teams, the statement continued, are prepared to distribute food, water, healthcare, and other essential services. “We have a large amount of stock ready to be distributed as soon as the blockade is lifted. We call on world leaders to use their influence to make this happen. Now is the time to lift the blockade,” OCHA urged.
The statement also criticized efforts to direct civilians into conflict areas to access aid, warning this would leave large parts of Gaza without food. Since March 2, the Zionist entity has sealed Gaza’s crossings, blocking entry of food, medical supplies, and basic goods—deepening the humanitarian crisis, according to international and rights-based organizations.
