Ukrainian FM Discusses Peace Efforts with US Envoy Keith Kellogg

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held talks with US Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg to discuss efforts toward achieving a “comprehensive, just, and sustainable peace,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday. Sybiha reaffirmed Kyiv’s commitment to securing peace “through strength” and outlined the necessary steps Ukraine envisions for ending the war with Russia.
During the discussions, Sybiha highlighted the deep connection between Ukraine’s security and that of the broader transatlantic region, emphasizing that the two are “indivisible.” The talks come at a critical moment, as the war nears its third anniversary and Ukraine seeks continued Western support amid shifting geopolitical dynamics.
Kellogg’s visit to Kyiv follows recent US-Russia negotiations in Saudi Arabia aimed at ending the conflict. Notably, Ukrainian representatives were excluded from those discussions, raising concerns in Kyiv about its role in shaping the future of the war and potential peace agreements.
