
The new Ambassador of Ukraine, Oleksandr Voronin, expressed on Tuesday his country’s willingness to further strengthen its bilateral cooperation with Algeria.
Speaking after the ceremony to present his credentials to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Ukrainian ambassador said he had discussed with the President of the Republic “the current state of bilateral relations between Algeria and Ukraine, as well as prospects for their development.” Voronin emphasized that his mission in Algeria “consists in continuing this tradition of friendship and exploring new areas of cooperation that are mutually beneficial to both countries.” In this context, he stated that his country was “ready” to foster bilateral cooperation with Algeria, particularly in the energy sector, recalling “Algeria’s strategic position” in the regional and international energy landscape.
In addition, the ambassador expressed his country’s desire to develop “mutually beneficial” economic and technological cooperation with Algeria.
