The President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, sent a congratulatory message to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the occasion of his re-election for a second consecutive term, The Algerian Presidency said Thursday in a communiqué.
In his message, Museveni, expressed, on behalf of himself and the Ugandan government, his warmest congratulations, emphasizing that this victory reflects the trust of the Algerian people in President Tebboune.
President Museveni also expressed his hope to develop and expand areas of cooperation between the two nations. He concluded by wishing to witness Algeria’s strong initiatives and prominent rise on the international stage under President Tebboune’s leadership, reaffirming Uganda’s full support for the historic relations between the two countries, aimed at fostering fraternal cooperation for the benefit of both peoples, said the source.
