Voting began on Thursday in Uganda for presidential and parliamentary elections, according to media reports.
Over 21 million Ugandan voters are expected to go to the polls to elect the president, 353 directly elected members of Parliament, and 146 district female representatives, all on the same day.
Incumbent President Yoweri Museveni is seeking another term in this election, facing seven other candidates, including the popular singer Bobi Wine.
