U.S. Imposes Sanctions on UN Special Rapporteur for Palestinian Territories

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Wednesday that Washington will impose sanctions on Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, based in Geneva.

Rubio criticized what he described on X as Albanese’s “illegitimate and disgraceful efforts” to push the International Criminal Court to take action against American, Zionist officials, companies, and leaders.
