Trump on Gaza plan: I will not tolerate delay

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday that Hamas must move quickly on his plan for ending the war in Gaza, “or else all bets will be off.”
“Hamas must move quickly, or else all bets will be off. I will not tolerate delay, which many think will happen, or any outcome where Gaza poses a threat again. Let’s get this done, FAST. Everyone will be treated fairly!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
This comes after Hamas submitted its response to Trump’s Gaza plan, with the group agreeing to hand over administration of the territory to Palestinian technocrats and free all captives in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.
Despite the US president’s call for the Zionist occupation to cease its attacks on Gaza, at least 41 Palestinians have been killed since dawn due to Zionist shelling and fire, including 35 in Gaza city alone, according to medical sources.
The Zionist occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza has killed at least 67,074 people and wounded 169,430 since October 2023. Thousands more are believed to be buried under the rubble.
