Trump Declares Gaza War Officially Over as Hamas Completes Detainees Release Under Ceasefire Deal

US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that the zionist entity’s war on the besieged Gaza Strip is officially over, moments after the Palestinian group Hamas completed the release of all 20 living Zionist detainees held in the enclave. When asked by reporters if the war had concluded, Trump responded briefly, “yes”.

According to an Anadolu correspondent, Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, concluded the release of the 20 Zionist detainees in coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross. The hostages were handed over to Red Cross teams in two separate groups inside the Gaza Strip.

The handover took place under the framework of Trump’s 20-point ceasefire agreement between the Zionist entity and Hamas, which stipulates a reciprocal release process. In exchange for the freed hostages, the zionist entity began releasing 1,968 Palestinian prisoners, including 250 serving life sentences. The Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office confirmed that buses carrying the detainees have already departed from Zionist prisons toward Gaza and the West Bank, marking the formal implementation of the agreement that ended the devastating conflict.
