Trump Claims Credit for Ceasefire After U.S. Bombs Iranian Nuclear Sites

U.S. President Donald Trump declared Tuesday that both ‘Israel’ and Iran sought to end their hostilities, asserting that his intervention—specifically the destruction of Iranian nuclear facilities—was the decisive factor in halting the war. “Both Israel and Iran wanted to stop the War, equally! It was my great honor to Destroy All Nuclear facilities & capability, and then, STOP THE WAR!” he wrote on his Truth Social platform.

The conflict escalated on June 13 when the Zionist entity launched coordinated airstrikes on multiple Iranian targets, including military and nuclear facilities. The Zionist entity claimed Iran was dangerously close to producing a nuclear bomb, accusations Iran strongly denied. In response, Tehran launched retaliatory missile and drone attacks on Zionist positions.

The United States joined the fray on Sunday, striking three major Iranian nuclear sites in what Trump described as a move to neutralize Tehran’s nuclear capabilities. Just two days later, Trump announced a ceasefire agreement that effectively ended 12 days of intense military exchanges between Iran and the Zionist entity.
