Trump Announces Board of Peace Charter, Predicts Ukraine and Gaza Wars Will End Soon

US President Donald Trump formally unveiled the charter of the Board of Peace during a ceremony in Davos, Switzerland, declaring optimism for a resolution to ongoing global conflicts. Speaking to assembled world leaders, Trump said the Ukraine war could end “pretty soon” and described the situation in Gaza as “really coming to an end.”

Trump highlighted the global scope of the initiative, noting that 59 countries are involved and praising the current members of the board. “I like every single one of them,” he said, adding that the board has the potential to become “one of the most consequential bodies ever created.” He also reflected on the broader impact, stating that “today the world is richer, safer and much more peaceful than it was a year ago.”

Addressing the importance of international cooperation, Trump emphasized that nearly every country wants to participate in the Board of Peace. “We’re going to have peace in the world… And boy, would that be a great legacy for all of us,” he said, framing the initiative as a historic effort to advance global stability and conflict resolution.
