Tehran Will Continue to Exercise Its Right to Self-Defense (Iranian FM)

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, declared on Thursday that the country “will continue to exercise its right to self-defense” and that the Zionist entity will “regret” its aggressive actions initiated last Friday against Iranian territory.
“Iran will proudly and resolutely assert its right to self-defense, ensuring that the aggressor pays for its grave mistake,” Araghchi stated in a message on social media.
The Iranian minister further accused the Zionist entity of attempting to “ignite tensions throughout the region and beyond.”
On June 13, the Zionist entity launched attacks on Iran, targeting nuclear facilities among other sites. In immediate retaliation, Iran fired missiles and drones at the aggressor, pledging to continue its countermeasures “to the last drop of blood.”
Meanwhile, calls for de-escalation and restraint persist, with several countries and international organizations urging the UN Security Council to take urgent action to alleviate tensions in the region.
