Tebboune, Meloni Co-Chair the Algerian-Italian Business Forum’s Closing Session

On Wednesday afternoon in Rome, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune co-chaired the closing session of the Algerian-Italian Business Forum alongside Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The event culminated in the signing of several cooperation and partnership agreements between the two nations.
During this occasion, the President expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for her “tireless efforts to strengthen relations that benefit both countries and their peoples.”
In turn, Meloni referred to Algeria as a “dynamic friendly country,” highlighting the “promising” prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The Algerian-Italian Business Forum commenced earlier that morning as part of the President’s official visit to Italy, drawing significant participation from business leaders across various sectors in both countries.
This forum served as a vital platform to explore investment opportunities and forge new partnerships in diverse fields such as energy, infrastructure, transportation, agriculture, industry, and pharmaceuticals.
At the conclusion of the forum, a commemorative photo was taken, featuring the Algerian President, the Italian Prime Minister, and representatives from the companies that signed the agreements.
