Sweden: Two Injured in Shooting in Örebro (Police)

According to Swedish police, two individuals were injured on Friday in a shooting incident in Örebro, a city located in southern Sweden. Local media report that one of the victims was shot while exiting a mosque.
Authorities have urged the public to avoid the area as they search for the shooter. “The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into attempted murder. Two individuals sustained injuries as a result of this shooting,” the police stated in a press release, providing no additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident or any potential arrests.
“We are currently conducting an active search for the suspects,” said Anders Dahlman, a police spokesperson, in a statement to the media. “We are interviewing witnesses, and a technical investigation is underway,” he added.
