Two suspects in the murder of General Igor Kirillov have been apprehended, according to a law enforcement source speaking to RT. The suspects were identified through surveillance footage, although it remains unclear whether they are directly connected to the terrorist attack that claimed the general’s life.
One suspect is believed to have delivered a booby-trapped scooter to the entrance of General Kirillov’s residence, facilitating the attack. The Federal Security Service (FSB) confirmed the apprehension of the perpetrator responsible for the bombing.
The bomber, identified as a citizen of Uzbekistan, reportedly admitted during questioning that he was recruited by Ukrainian special services. Investigations are ongoing to establish the full extent of the suspects’ involvement and potential connections to external agencies.
