SPLA Units Target Base of Moroccan Occupation Forces in Guelta Sector

GUELTA SECTOR – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) launched a concentrated bombardment on Wednesday morning targeting a Moroccan army base in the Arkiz area of the Guelta sector, reportedly inflicting “heavy losses in lives and equipment,” according to a statement by the SPLA Central Directorate of Political Affairs.
The statement confirmed that “advanced units of our army executed a precise strike” against the enemy base, emphasizing that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to weaken Moroccan military positions entrenched along the so-called Wall of Shame — the Moroccan defensive barrier dividing Western Sahara.
SPLA operations continue with intensity across various sectors, with the army asserting that its strikes are inflicting serious damage on Moroccan occupation forces and undermining the hostile fortifications in the region.
