South Korea: Four Crew Members Killed in Military Plane Crash

SEOUL – Four crew members were killed in the crash of a South Korean military aircraft, local media reported on Thursday.
The P-3 maritime patrol aircraft, carrying four crew members, took off from a military base in the southeastern city of Pohang for a training mission at around 1:43 p.m. local time (04:43 GMT), according to the Ministry of Defense.
The aircraft crashed into a hillside near the base at approximately 1:49 p.m. (04:49 GMT). The ministry stated that no civilian casualties have been reported so far.
Media reports confirmed that all crew members were found burned beyond recognition.
