SONATRACH Renews Framework Agreements with Six Public Holdings and Industrial Groups

Algiers – SONATRACH announced today the renewal of Framework Agreements with six public holdings and industrial groups as part of its ongoing policy to promote local content and national integration.

These agreements aim to provide goods and services through public economic enterprises (EPEs) owned by these groups, benefiting SONATRACH and its affiliates.

The signing ceremony took place at SONATRACH’s headquarters, attended by key officials including Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines, and Renewable Energies, Mr. Mohamed ARKAB, Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Mr. Sifi GHRIEB, SONATRACH Chairman & CEO, Mr. Rachid HACHICHI, and the CEOs of the six signatory groups: Industrial Group DIVINDUS, IMETAL, ACS Holding, AGM, ELEC EL DJAZAIR, and GETEX.

These agreements, which extend for three years, aim to reduce reliance on imports, except for raw materials or components not available locally. They also ensure that the involved EPEs provide goods and services to SONATRACH at competitive prices while maintaining high standards in terms of quality, cost, and deadlines. Joint committees and subcommittees will be established to oversee the implementation of these agreements.
