
ALGIERS — The development strategy of the Algeria-Oman fertilizer company (AOA) was at the heart of a high-level meeting held Monday between Sonatrach CEO Rachid Hachichi and Chairman of the Suhail Bahwan Group, Saad Suhail Bahwan, according to a statement from Sonatrach.
The meeting, which took place at Sonatrach headquarters, brought together senior executives from both sides to assess and advance cooperation within the joint venture. Discussions focused on key elements of AOA’s development plan, aimed at increasing production capacity and enhancing overall performance in the medium term.
AOA, also known as Lil Asmida, is a joint-stock company specializing in the production and marketing of ammonia and granulated urea. It was established through a strategic partnership between Algeria’s Sonatrach and Oman’s Suhail Bahwan Group.
