Sonatrach Explores Green Hydrogen Partnership with John Cockerill in Houston

Rachid Hachichi, the CEO of Sonatrach Group, along with senior executives, recently met with a delegation from John Cockerill Company in Houston to discuss potential collaborations in renewable energy. John Cockerill specializes in technological solutions, with a particular focus on the production of green hydrogen electrolyzers. The meeting, held at the company’s headquarters, was aimed at exploring ways to build a future partnership in the rapidly growing field of green hydrogen.
During the talks, representatives from John Cockerill presented their cutting-edge innovations, services, and solutions for the production, transportation, and marketing of green hydrogen. Both parties discussed opportunities for collaboration, emphasizing the importance of integrating advanced technology to support the global shift toward renewable energy sources.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the “Gastech” World Conference, held from September 17-20, in which Sonatrach’s CEO and delegation participated. Following the discussions, the Sonatrach team visited a factory producing green hydrogen electrolyzers for the US market, further solidifying their interest in leveraging advanced technologies to drive sustainable energy development.
