ALGIERS – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, arrived on Monday in Algeria on an official visit.
Upon his arrival, he was received by the Speaker of the People’s National Assembly, Brahim Boughali.
Algeria and Somalia are looking to inject new momentum into their bilateral cooperation in a way that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples. This comes in the context of a strong political will on both sides, based on the historical ties that unite them.
These strong historical ties, rooted in values of understanding, solidarity, and mutual trust, are set to be further strengthened and elevated to higher levels on the occasion of the official visit to Algeria by the Somali President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
