Slovenian Foreign Minister Denounces Gaza Starvation, Urges International Action

Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon warned on Monday that the world is losing “nearly a classroom of students every day” in Gaza as a result of relentless bombardment and deliberate starvation.

In a press statement, Fajon condemned the obstruction of humanitarian aid, stressing that “life-saving assistance is being deliberately blocked in Gaza, and entire families are being wiped out before the eyes of the world.” She emphasized that peace cannot be achieved without justice, noting Slovenia’s decision to impose sanctions on Zionist ministers and ban arms trade with the Zionist entity.

The minister recalled that Slovenia has already recognized the State of Palestine and pledged to advocate for broader international recognition during the upcoming UN General Assembly. She further revealed that her country is also considering joining South Africa’s case against the Zionist entity before the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
