Algerian rower Sid Ali Boudina has qualified for the Final C in the men’s single sculls event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He secured his spot by finishing third in the first series of the semi-finals with a time of 6:57.06 on Wednesday at the Olympic Nautical Stadium in Vaires-sur-Marne.
This marks Sid Ali Boudina’s third appearance at the Olympics, following his participations in Rio (Brazil) and Tokyo (Japan). He will compete in Final C on Saturday at 8:42 AM.
Meanwhile, Nihad Benchadli has qualified for the Final E in the women’s single sculls event, scheduled for Friday, which will determine rankings from 30th to 35th place.
