Senate Rejects Bernie Sanders’ Effort to Block US Arms Sales to the Zionist Entity

The US Senate has once again rejected Senator Bernie Sanders’ third attempt to block the sale of artillery and other weapons to the zionist entity. Sanders argued that providing arms to the Zionist entity, which have been used in operations against civilians in Gaza and Lebanon, violates US law that prohibits arms sales to nations engaged in human rights violations.
However, Republican Senator Joni Ernst quickly countered Sanders’ proposal, asserting that instead of curbing arms sales, the United States should increase its support for the Zionist entity. The debate highlights the ongoing divide in Washington over the US’s role in the Palestinian cause and its commitment to military assistance for the Zionist entity.
