Second Day of the African Start-up Conference

The proceedings of the 3rd edition of the African Start-up Conference, officially inaugurated on Thursday by Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui, are set to continue today at the Abdelatif-Rahal International Conference Center (CIC) in Algiers.

The second day will feature a closed-door African Start-up Ministerial Summit, chaired by the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises, Noureddine Ouadah. Additionally, a panel discussion titled “Building Bridges: The Role of the Algerian and African Diaspora” will be moderated by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs responsible for the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib. This session aims to highlight the contributions of community members to economic development and technological transformation, as emphasized by the organizers.

Various workshops, meetings, and conferences are also scheduled during this edition, themed “Reimagining Africa through Artificial Intelligence.” This theme provides participants with an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences aimed at developing solutions that align with established goals.

Moreover, the exhibition dedicated to start-ups will continue today, enabling participants to showcase their innovative projects and ideas in the fields of modern technologies and artificial intelligence.

Held under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, this edition is organized by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises, in collaboration with the public accelerator Algeria Venture. The conference will run until Saturday, December 7.
