Sahrawi Army Strikes Moroccan Occupation Positions in Guelta, Mahbès Sectors

Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) have targeted positions and command posts of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Guelta and Mahbès sectors, inflicting heavy losses, according to a military communiqué from the central political commissariat of the SPLA.

“Advanced units of the APLS targeted the command headquarters of a regiment in the Guelta sector and the command seat of another regiment in the Mahbès sector, and bombarded the site of heavy artillery in the Tnouched region in the same sector,” The statement, quoted by the Sahrawi Press Agency (SPS), reported.

It adds that the SPLA attacks are ongoing, focusing on “the positions and fortifications of the Moroccan occupation forces along the Wall of Shame.”
