Sahrawi Army Renews Attacks on Moroccan Occupation in Mahbes, Smara, and Farsia

BIR LEHLOU – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) launched fresh attacks on Sunday against Moroccan occupation forces positioned in the Mahbes, Smara, and Farsia sectors, according to Military Communiqué No. 901 issued by the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense.
The SPLA reportedly carried out intense artillery shelling targeting Moroccan military positions across the three sectors. The attacks came a day after SPLA advanced units concentrated strikes on Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes sector, specifically in the areas of Akarara, Farsik, Shadima, and Amatirat Lamkhaynza.
The communiqué emphasized that SPLA operations continue unabated, stating that “the attacks targeting the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces persist, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment along the wall of shame.”
