Russia Urges Restraint as Situation Around Cuba Escalates, Kremlin Says

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on developments near Cuba, saying that Cuban border guards “did what they had to do” in response to a boat incident off the coast.

He added that Russia sees the situation around Cuba as heating up and stressed the importance of all parties exercising restraint and avoiding provocative actions to prevent further escalation.
