Russia Says Hezbollah is Still Organized, Criticizes Western Involvement in Middle East Conflict

Russia’s Foreign Ministry asserted that Hezbollah remains organized and has not lost its command structure, despite ongoing strikes. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova emphasized that the group, including its military wing, continues to demonstrate a high level of organization. Zakharova accused the West, particularly the United States and the United Kingdom, of exacerbating tensions in the Middle East, criticizing their support for “Israel” amid significant civilian casualties in Lebanon.
Zakharova’s comments reflect Russia’s stance on the role of Hezbollah in the region, as well as its broader criticisms of Zionist military actions.
In addition to addressing Hezbollah, Russia condemned the Zionist entity for its recent missile strike on Syria, labeling it a gross violation of Syrian sovereignty. Zakharova denounced the attack on a multi-story apartment building in a densely populated area of Damascus, calling it “outrageous.” She noted that such actions have become routine for the Zionist entity.
