Russia : Europe Has Become a “War Party” Amid Militarization

Europe has embraced militarization and transformed into a “war party,” sharply diverging from Moscow and Washington’s commitment to peaceful resolution efforts, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters, Peskov noted that Brussels and European capitals are increasingly focused on military buildup, which contradicts the diplomatic efforts of Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump to find a peaceful settlement. He emphasized that Europe’s actions undermine the prospects for de-escalation.

“We hear constant signals from Brussels about the militarization of Europe, which clearly conflicts with the approach of the presidents of Russia and the United States to seek peaceful solutions,” Peskov stated, reiterating concerns over Europe’s trajectory in the ongoing geopolitical crisis.
