
Russian President Vladimir Putin assured Central African Republic (CAR) President Faustin-Archange Touadéra of Russia’s continued humanitarian aid to CAR.
During a meeting in Moscow, Putin noted a nearly eightfold increase in trade turnover between the two nations over the past year, highlighting the positive trajectory despite modest overall figures.
The leaders discussed ongoing security collaboration, with Touadéra expressing gratitude for Russian instructors’ contributions to CAR’s stability.
He also thanked Russia for shipments of grain and fuel, which have supported Bangui amid challenging times. Touadéra emphasized the role of Russian support in enabling CAR to reaffirm its sovereignty and revealed plans to expand cooperation in security and energy.
